We believe a strong sense of social responsibility paves the way for a successful future for your child. At Fort Langley Learning Centre, children are given opportunities to develop socially through an environment that is supportive and encouraging. We help this develop through activities that encourage problem solving, discussion and teamwork. Our team strives to model healthy, interactive social skills with children and adults alike. We believe it is not only in the earlier years of life that these skills are of importance but through to adulthood as well.
Research shows that children who have not been given opportunities to strengthen their social skills are more likely to have difficulty in their teen and adult years. It has been proven that without strong social and communication tools, these people tend to suffer peer rejection, have difficulty regulating social behaviour and struggle in the workplace environment.
Our goal at Fort Langley Learning Centre is to lay the groundwork for your child to have the confidence, tools and voice to maintain a healthy path to adulthood. |
