Our programs offer activities that are open ended. Children are free to meet and respond to activities in a self-determined way. We provide a balance of individual and group activities. We have a well equipped play area with a variety of toys and activities to promote learning. We emphasize social responsibility in all our programs. We encourage younger children to develop their communication skills, independence skills and the idea of sharing and caring. We help older children to accept responsibility and encourage them to appropriately express their feelings and emotions. We take advantage of spontaneous learning by exploring the children's interests. We implement activities, in-house presentations and community outings that are geared towards the desires of the children.
Our Early Childhood Educators base the curriculum outcome on the key areas of growth and development. By varying techniques of observation, reflection, interacting and recording, our Educators are able to provide and implement a program rich in exploration, growth and learning. We appreciate that each child and each group come from different backgrounds, have different needs, learning styles, abilities and have varying interests. By taking all these aspects into consideration, our Educators are able to lay out an environment that allows children to grow socially, physically, cognitively, emotionally and creatively. Our Learning Centre provides a rich, nurturing setting that incorporates daily learning activities, indoor and outdoor environments, flexible daily schedules and a supportive, hands on team to guide your children to success! |
